Broadwater is a village in Morrill County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 128 at the 2010 census. ==History== The Battle of Rush Creek between the U.S. army and warriors of the Cheyenne, Lakota Sioux, and Arapaho Indian tribes took place in 1865 southeast of present-day Broadwater〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Nebraska Indian Battles & Massacres - Page 3 )〕 where Cedar Creek enters the North Platte River. Broadwater had its start in 1909 when the railroad was extended to that point.
